Holy Days Of Obligation:
January 1, August 15, November 1: When they occur on a Sunday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they are days of obligation, when
they occur on a Saturday and Monday they are not days of obligation.
December 8 and December 25 are always days of obligation.
However, when December 8 occurs on a Sunday the celebration is transferred
to Monday and is not a day of obligation. Feast of the
Ascension has been transferred to the Seventh Sunday of Easter. |

RADIO MASS is available for shut-in and
homebound folks in Kankakee and the surrounding area. The broadcast airs
on Sundays from 9:05 - 9:30 a.m. on WKAN, AM 1320, on the dial.
